Durante la mañana de hoy la Academia reveló sus nominaciones para la edición número 94 de los premios Oscar. Leslie Jordan y Tracee Ellis Ross anunciaron las nominaciones en vivo a través de la página principal, redes sociales y canal de YouTube de la organización. Los ganadores serán revelados en una ceremonia en persona el próximo 27 de marzo y televisados en ABC.

El drama western de Netflix, The Power of the Dog, lideró el grupo con 12 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película, director, actor, actriz de reparto y guión adaptado. Just detrás le siguió la épica de ciencia ficción, Dune, con 10 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película y una nominaciones para el director Denis Villeneuve.

Netflix lideró todos los estudios con 27 nominaciones. Mientras tanto, Disney recibió 23 nominaciones, Warner Bros. 16, MGM 8, Focus Features 7, Apple TV+ 6, Neon 6 y Amazon 4.
