Durante la tarde de hoy el gremio de Critics Choice (CCA) reveló sus nominaciones celebrando lo mejor del cine durante el año. La película Everything Everywhere All At Once lideró a los nominados con 14, incluyendo mejor película, director, actriz y guión original. Siguiendo sus pasos, la cinta The Fabelmans de Steven Spielberg consiguió 11 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor banda sonora (John Williams) y cinematografía (Janusz Kaminski). El drama Babylon de Damien Chazelle y la comedia The Banshees of Inisherin de Martin McDonagh, recibieron cada una 9 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor película.

La asociación está compuesto de más de 600 miembros de críticos de cine y televisión en los medios de televisión, radio e internet. Fundada en 1995, hoy día el gremio es el más grande (de críticos) en los Estados Unidos y Canadá.

La edición número 28 de los premios se llevarán a cabo el domingo, 15 de diciembre en Los Ángeles, y será televisada en The CW. La comediante y actriz Chelsea Handler será la anfitriona de la premiación.
