El actor, Vin Diesel anunció en su pagina de Facebook que la secuela, FAST & FURIOUS 7 ya tiene nueva fecha de estreno: 10 d abril del 2015.
Diesel también compartió unas palabras y una imagen de la última escena que filmó junto al actor, Paul Walker.
